Andrew DeGroat, AIF®

Andrew DeGroat is a Senior Vice President at HUB Retirement and Wealth Management. Andrew founded WhartonHill Advisors in 1994 and joined HUB International through the acquisition of WhartonHill by HUB in 2019.

With over three decades of experience, Andrew has provided services and advice to plan sponsors to assist them in managing all aspects of their qualified and non-qualified corporate sponsored plans. Services include assistance with plan design, plan governance support, investment fiduciary services, investment review, fee benchmarking, vendor management support and employee education.

Andrew provides businesses of all sizes with the investment fiduciary services they need to create more effective retirement strategies and help their participants take full advantage of their available corporate qualified plan. Regardless of size, Andrew and his team’s objective is to improve the quality of their client’s plan services.

Andrew is involved with many local charities supporting underprivileged children as well as many local organizations supporting youth athletics. He has served as a board member of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Lacrosse Association; he was one of the founding members and current President of the Wissahickon Boys Lacrosse Club and served as the Treasurer of the Wissahickon Lacrosse Parents Association.

He lives in suburban Philadelphia and is married with 3 children.
