Background

Amy Burk is the daughter of Jim Charbonneau & Beverly Ferguson and has lived in South Carolina for over 35 years. She is married to Daniel Burk and they live in the area with their two children.

Amy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, where her focus was on International Business, Finance, and Management Science. She also graduated with Honors from the South Carolina Honors College.

After college, Amy worked at Eaton Corp. for seven years in various roles. In her final role as a Production Planning and Scheduling Supervisor, she was responsible for coordinating a team of customer service reps and coordinating the scheduling and production of a $500M product line.

In 2015, Amy became part of Jim Charbonneau’s team in Seneca, SC and soon developed a passion for assisting clients in pursuing their financial aspirations. She finds great satisfaction in aiding them in their journey towards experiencing the fruits of their labor by managing their financial life. Amy’s commitment to her clients led her to obtain her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 2022, followed by her completion of a Master Planned Advanced Studies (MPAS) in Personal Financial Planning in 2023, enhancing her capabilities as a Financial Advisor and enabling her to provide even more comprehensive support to her clientele.

In her down time, Amy can be found at local high school football and baseball games, supporting her husband and the teams he coaches. She also enjoys traveling, going on adventures with their family throughout the upstate, along with volunteering as a member of the Seneca Sertoma Club.
