Phillip Brunson

As a basketball player from a young age, Phillip learned the importance of teamwork, a skill that is integral to his BLS role as a Paraplanner.

Detail-oriented and a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, Phillip brings with him years of experience in developing and analyzing financial plans as well as coordinating client services.* He is integral to the BLS Financial Planning Team’s success in servicing our clients and providing solutions to help them pursue their financial goals.

Phillip’s proudest accomplishment is passing his qualification and financial securities licensing exams. “As a marketing major with experience in accounting, learning the language of financial planning and investing was a challenge. Passing those exams was a career and personal milestone,” he explained.

Phillips’ parents are his role models and he admires them for their work ethic and dedication to the family. “My dad ran an accounting firm and never missed one of my events. My mom was equally hard-working and was always there for me no matter what,” he explained.

The youngest of five siblings, Phillip was born and raised in South Florida and currently lives in North Miami. He enjoys going to the beach, playing basketball and attending Miami Heat games, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
