David Rodriguez, CPM, MBA

David is the first to hold the position of Director of Government Services at HUB Investment Partners, where he manages the implementation of institutional consulting services for cities and counties. David is responsible for the day-to-day interaction with cities, counties, city and county officials, and staff. He also works to enhance relationships with city leaders and affiliated associations across Texas including TCMA (Texas City Managers Association), TMHRA (Texas Municipal Human Resources Association, GFOAT (Government Finance Officers Association of Texas), TMPA (Texas Municipal Police Association) and other organizations. 

David holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University as well as an MBA degree form Jones University. Additionally, David holds the highly regarded Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation from the program founded at Texas State University. David began his career at New York Life working 8 years as Regional Sales Manager. He then transitioned to the TMRS – Texas Municipal Retirement System, where he held various positions including Regional Representative, Regional Manager, and Senior Regional Manager. After 24 years at TMRS, David retired in March of 2021 and joined TCG. 

David has been married to his wife, Teresa, for over 27 years. He enjoys golfing, staying fit and he and Teresa love dancing.
