Chicago, IL – September 22, 2025 – HUB Retirement and Private Wealth (RPW), a division of HUB International, is pleased to announce that Richard J. Snyder, CPFA®, CPM® has joined the firm as Executive Vice President – Public Sector Retirement.
With more than 25 years of experience in the institutional retirement plan industry, Snyder brings extensive expertise in fiduciary oversight, plan governance, and participant outcomes. In his new role, he will work closely with employers, trustees, and committees to strengthen retirement plan design, compliance, and investment strategies. He will also provide fiduciary training and help clients implement industry best practices to improve overall plan health.
Snyder’s career spans both the public and private sectors. He began his work in retirement with the State of Florida’s Bureau of Deferred Compensation, later serving in leadership roles at major retirement plan providers. Most recently, he was a Senior Area Vice President at Gallagher, where he partnered with large public entities nationwide and drove significant growth in the firm’s public-sector retirement business.

Snyder holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) and Certified Public Manager (CPM®) designations and earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He is an active member of several industry organizations, including the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA), where he serves on multiple committees, and the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) Advisory Board.
