Michael Furrer, AIF®, ChFC®

Jumping out of a military aircraft was something Mike never imagined doing again after leaving the Army. 

A few years ago, Mike flew from England to the French coast and descended upon the beaches of Normandy, France by parachute. This was done with the spirit and determination of a young soldier in remembrance of the brave World War II paratroopers during the D-Day invasion. Mike consistently faces challenges head-on and is an unceasing student of his both his passions and profession. Michael is the founder of Longbow Financial Services, which is now a division of HUB International, and is highly dedicated to his practice. Mike is a veteran, having served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army’s only active parachute division, the 82nd Airborne Division. He brings the loyalty, dedication, and perseverance from his days in the military into his business. With over 40 years spent in the industry, he takes great pride in his work.

Mike is a graduate of Whitworth college in Spokane, WA and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He serves in the best interests of his clients and exhibits the utmost care and concern for his clients’ success. Mike spends most of his down time relaxing with his wife, children, and grandchildren, or in his forge crafting beautiful knives. For Mike, his hobbies have helped him to develop a focus on precision and accuracy that translates into the excellent service he and his team provide their clients.
