Michael Flahaven, AIF®, CFP®, CPFA®, CRC®

Mike Flahaven is Senior Vice President for HUB Retirement and Wealth Management. Mike manages the Retirement Service Team, tapping into his 25 years of industry knowledge to coordinate their day-to-day responsibilities and encourage their professional growth in the institutional consulting space. Mike’s passion and favorite part of the job is interfacing with the service and sales teams to help them to grow as individuals and as a team. He also works with retirement plan sponsors, advising them on different investment and design strategies for their defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified plans. 

Mike joined HUB in 2019. Prior to joining, he spent 23 years as a Retirement Plan Consultant working for two national recordkeepers where he focused on the middle market corporate retirement plan market.

Mike earned his B.S. in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois and his MBA in Marketing from Dominican University. His professional designations include the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), and Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC®). Mike also holds the Series 24, 6, 7, 65 & 63 Security Licenses.* 

Mike is an Evans Scholars alum. He has been happily married for 35 years with 3 adult children. Mike is also a proud grandfather.
