James Bartoszewicz, JD, AIFA®, CPFA®, C(k)P®

Jim Bartoszewicz brings more than 35 years of experience to HUB International’s regional headquarters in Pittsburgh. He serves as a retirement resource internally and with clients to maintain their fiduciary and investment compliance. Jim brings his broad experience and knowledge, aiming to ensure that our clients consistently meet their retirement plan goals.

Jim’s diverse background as attorney, investment advisor and fiduciary expert provides a unique foundation for his clients regarding investment analysis, fiduciary responsibility and participant education. Prior to joining HUB International in 2021, Jim was co-owner of a retirement-focused investment advisory firm that grew to over $2 billion in plan assets over ten years. His previous experience includes serving as the Chief Compliance Officer of a national retirement investment advisory firm. During his five-year tenure there, Jim implemented procedures that grew the firm’s retirement plan assets by more than $4 billion.

Jim maintains his legal license in Pennsylvania and is a Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®) in good standing with The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. He is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) through the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ (AIFA®) through the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University.

Jim remains active in his community. Since 2010, he has served as President of the Board of Directors for Providence Connections, a family support center for Pittsburgh’s underprivileged community. An avid fisherman, Jim also enjoys hiking, bicycling and traveling/exploring with his family, especially his wife of 35 years.
