Dakota Staton is a Wealth Advisor at HUB Investment Partners, specializing in comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to individuals and families, offering tailored strategies for wealth preservation, tax optimization, and estate planning. With a strong commitment to educating and empowering clients, Dakota aims to help them make informed decisions to optimize their retirement. Holding a Bachelor’s in Finance with a minor in Economics, Dakota was also a student-athlete and scholarship recipient. His certifications include SIE, Series 7, Series 66, Series 65, and CFP®, highlighting his extensive expertise in the financial field.   

Dakota’s career began as a business analyst for a start-up working alongside the inventor of Muscle Milk. He then moved to San Antonio to work at a private wealth advisory specializing in insurance and risk management before joining Prudential where he focused on holistic financial planning. Now based in Austin, TX, Dakota lives with his wife Kayla and their son Casey. An avid trap shooter and fly fisherman, he volunteers with the Wounded Warriors Foundation, coaching amputees to enjoy shotgun sports again. Dakota is guided by Albert Einstein’s words on the power of compound interest: “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.”
