Jerry Verseput, CFP

Jerry is a Certified Financial Planner™ and founding principal of Veripax Wealth Management, which was acquired by Hub International in 2025. In addition to holding the CFP® certification, Jerry holds a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly, Pomona) and an M.S. degree in Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Prior to establishing Veripax in 2006, Jerry was a senior-level engineering manager at Intel Corporation.

Jerry combines his financial and technical background to help guide families and businesses through the intricacies of their financial lives with a logical approach that strives to remove financial stress and allow them to focus on more important things. Jerry is constantly looking for ways to meet client goals while reducing risk, which has led to a deep knowledge of Structured Notes, private credit, and other alternative investments. He has been quoted in articles regarding investment strategy and financial topics in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Money Magazine, Morningstar Advisor, and Kiplinger’s, and is the author of several published articles on investment performance and strategy.

When not thinking about or putting together new investments, Jerry enjoys golfing, recording music (you can find some of it on YouTube), paddleboarding, and wine tasting in Napa.
