HUB RPW is proud to celebrate Alex Hsu for being named a PLANADVISER 2025 Emerging Leader! Alex is a Client Relationship Manager at HUB’s Bethesda, MD office.
PLANADVISER’s Emerging Leaders program recognizes the next generation of leaders across the retirement plan advisory industry. To be considered, the recipients must have worked in the industry for at least three years but no more than 15. The award is open to individuals across all areas of the business – advising, operations, client relations, participant education, data, etc.
Alex Hsu’s journey at HUB began in 2017 as an intern on the team led by Lead Advisor and Managing Director of Bethesda, Alex Assaley. Drawn in to the retirement plan industry by the chance to help people in a meaningful way, Alex continued interning each summer until he joined full-time in 2020.
In his role as a Client Relationship Manager, Alex acts as a strategic resource and first point of contact for his retirement plan clients. As a team member, he supports his colleagues by helping to resolve challenges that arise and ensuring the highest level of service standards are maintained.
When asked how he defines success in his role, Alex said:
“Success means being the trusted partner clients rely on to address challenges quickly, effectively and with minimal disruption. Our clients are busy leading impactful organizations, and my job is to make managing their retirement plan as seamless as possible. It’s also about anticipating needs before they become problems and delivering solutions that build confidence and long-term relationships.”
